Earlier today, Microsoft confirmed the news that Mass Effect 3 will support voice controls through Kinect. During EA's media briefing, the game's announce date was announced alongside the first gameplay trailer being shown.
A demonstration of the game showed Shepard riding on a platform while shooting at a Reaper with a turret. It was a very cool, intense sequence, albeit one that's far unlike anything that's been seen in past games -- it looked more like something from Gears of War than Mass Effect.
Mass Effect 3 will be available on March 6, 2012.
